  12. through this post i shall endeaver to post each pigeon [and a short word about them] that were awarded the pdsa dicken medal,,,the animals v,c, off course there were hundreds more, that performed heroic deeds, if it werent for these pigeons, a lot of us would not be here today these will just be posted at random,
  13. and their beauties too, ive seen them, they would grace any loft, and fifer does a great job with them for charities etc, the cancer research was just one of them
  14. never had it since i stopped racing,, which leads me to beleive that stress has a lot to do with it
  15. your right about the perigrines clockie , their supposed to keep the birds away from the training planes, but they keep having to replace them as their" escaping" i dont know why folks think the west corridor is the worst for hawks, otterburn jedburgh, kelso coldstream are all not far from each other , and polluted with hawks [as is most places now]

  18. yes square peg, forecast bad for birds flying in to scotland, [would advise to be carefull] only my opinion
  19. when i visited show in n ireland met another james white from dublin after we had laugh about our names in common found out he was a real gentleman, who used to convoy pigeons , that was some years ago, i would also like to get in touch with him,as we had a great chat about the birds

  23. paratyphoid, salmonellosis, sorry to say, but my advice would be to cull them,,sorry to sound so harsh,but they can be carriers for life,
  24. i have just purchased a" pure " mongrel its scored in a national, its mother and father scored out of nationals, its 4 g, parents scored in nationals and its 8 g parents scored out nationals [national winners among them,all over 500 miles] oh i wish i had more of these" mongrels" ;D ;D ;D and i mean it too ;D ;D ;D
