we were at magnotsfield 116 miles lib at 8 .30 west wind must have been some south in it . 1 hour 55 mins about 1779 vel. 3 in a minute , 12 out of 17 in 11 minutes . 16 out of 17 in 45 mins. well pleased

this answers a bit tongue in cheek , but here goes , one of the problems with modern day racing (which probably needs a new post setting up) is :- that ,(without predujice)most club members are of the older type, and just want a nice club, so go along with whatever,a lot of members could not quote a rule, or even understand what the rule was meant to signify ? and an even bigger majority could not care less about rules, and ? or , do not understand the rules from a past era, get to reality , pigeon fanciers are declineing , modern day fanciers need to use modern day rules . quetion 1 : do we need a union ?

i'm a time served carpenter / joiner, and i looked at trantners lofts, and i can honestly say they look quality compared to some others (wonder if trantner will gimmi one ) ?? if i plug em ? bet they get in too late after i win the big un on september 6th ?

i always let them in, feed in a seperate basket and release within 2 days, they cannot see the outside surroundings, my mates method is send them to aberdeen with his shopfitter friend, or kill it !!!!!!!!!!!

my mate was racing out of niort in the north west classic as well as saintes, 479 miles, his 1st was 19.21, 1926, then 1946 ish from a 6.30 lib

just watched my neighbour clock 2 from saintes lib 6.30am , one at 9.42, next at 9.54 517 miles, don't sound like there is many home, well pleased for him 15 and a quarter hours

this area has an exceptional record nowadays and from past history has had exeptional pigeons, and fanciers, myself , being from yorkshire and from 3 genersions of damned good fanciers, i would just love to see a smiooth acceptaple welcoming reception , the way i see it at the moment is not that except for a few >> shall i name them ??
