1. Tammy, Never said it would what i am asking is what if. The authorities issue these rings on our behalf. These are our organisations, but do see what you are saying Thoughts for and against
2. This is in conection to the loss of y/b thread,Lets discuss ways in which we can re-dress this issue which threatens our very survival as a sport. What would the implications be if we issued 2009 b/y, rings on the 1st of Sep 2008 Any age racinging starting last week in may, or first week in June 2009. This could be done in much the same way as we presently race yearlings. Can i have your thoughts on this, as a radical way, in order to change this y/b madness. Lets look outside the cube.Anything we discuss is heavyly infuenced by how it is now, hiow we have alwas done it.We need tio get away from this and think in a creative and productive manor. Delboy forgive the spelling mate,I,ll come up with the ideas and you can spell it mate Lets here it .There are reasons why we dont, so lets see how many drew backs and advantages we can find. Happy days Rab Smith
3. Interesting thread. Agree with most things, however all we talk about is why.We need to give more time and thought into the way forward, what we can do,how we can change things in order to reverse this trend. My arguement has long since been we race at the wrong time, when things are against the birds. Question in point being we have our young bird National in around two weeks, why are we doing this when the birds are naturally maulting and need looked after not sent 2550 miles +. This at the time of our newly aquired, moonsoon season in August and September. Many of the questions possed above should have been addressed by the fancy and those in authority years ago. However there is a weaknes in our leadership,we have done it this way for years so we will continue. What we need is an invitaion club of around 50 members who will turn the sport on its head,in a quest to save our sport. It can be done we just need to find enough people with thye will. Good luck this weekend to all Rab Smith (Lets do it)
4. Can I get into any club Please, Lanarkshire would be great. rains all the time so it feels like i belong in Lanarkshire. One thing, need to be a lot of changes before i would join the Midland fed and thats for sure. Rab Smith (Clyde fan and all round good guy)

10. Very True Mate Young birds coming on great mate Thanks again Cheers Rab
11. This is a very good point IB.I except your arguement, and line of thought. Much better way than snipping at people about there returns. Many of the problems in our sport is caused by lack of direction and strong leadership. In such matters, it is to to the SHU that we loook in order to keep our integratey. Where are they? Good thread Cheers Rab Smith
12. Hi hope you enjoy the site as well as you pigeons Cheers Rab Smith
13. I am more than aware of the problems with east v West arguement within the Midland fed. All i am saying, is it is there right to collectavley make the desision to go dowm the west coast if they choose to do so. Whats more they should have the right to do so, without being wound up after every race. Redwhiteblue you are entitiled to you oppinion, and in many ways think you are spot on. However it is no ones business barr theres Happy days
14. All the best to you Tom.Wonder if with a name like redwhiteblue, he perhaps thinks the Midland fed are maybe all Celtic Fans. I many moons ago flew in the midland Fed,and he's begining to give me the Hump. Power and good luck to all feds, the poor returns experienced by some should not be discussed in this tone, or manor. Real Pigeon men suffer with such loses with out having to withstand this UNADULTARATED RUBBISH. Cheers Rab Smith Cheers Rab Smith
15. Sorry,or indeed Tom Corrie? Rab Smith
16. Redwhiteblue, Can resist no longer, would you care to enlighten us what problem or issue you have with the Midland Fed,or indeed
17. What about Jack in corrie

19. Best to try a few, cause one that works for some, may not work for others.Environment and other issues just as important as strain of pigeon. Start with a few and prove which one is best for you and your loft management Happy Days Rab Smith
20. Red nevertheless you took the time to help py posting this well done.Read it a while ago. There are some great Articals on this site for both old and new fanciers. Cheers Rab Smith
21. Overcast and dull Cumbernauld
22. Bosscat,so you can read and write, and anyone who can not is funny. you have a lot to learn
23. Delboy, Well said mate.Pigeons before fanciers. We have indeed to work together for the future of our sport. This with a back drop of remarks derogative to clubs, and fed,and of course national clubs. Fanciers on here wishing other fanciers a bad race. Why i can not understand. Not very nice. We do need to act soon in order to secure the future of our great sport. Happy days Rab Smith
24. When it comes to opinons,on Feds if they are negative they are best kept to yourself. Had some of this recently and it is not nice, not very nice at all. Lanarkshire is indeed the biggest fed and what they do and how they do it is very much up to Them. Happy days
