Hi Archie, their were 6 fanciers didnt go to the race that had entered earlier. 24 SENT 104 BIRDS.

Birds cleared lib site well with no mishaps Well done to Tommy McDonagh and his m8 Jim for doing a great job.

Birds are being liberated at 10am, no wind changing to light west at Edinburgh.Temp is 2 degrees at Dunbar with no chance of heating up. Very good luck to all competing, ps clocks at 5pm.

The pigeons were kept in good, secure, comfortable conditions overnight with access to water at all times. They are on their way to the lib site at the moment and Tommy and Jim will keep us posted on the weather conditions. A further update will follow asap. Cheers

Just under £1000 in pools, no need for side bets Del lol. A couple of hiccups tonight regarding ETS but all went smooth enough apart from that , thanks for the help lads. My race program playing up already so haven't a total breakdown yet but we tallied it up at the club and it was £1008 minus £28 to go back to a member. So £980 approx pool money.

Well Davy, you have just emphasised my point exactly.

Dougie, I know you speak up and have been at the top table for many years trying to move it forward with modern times but 'the nodding dog'expression is pointed at the ones that don't try and take it forward.An example of this was how the SHU treated me at my appeal recently.It was disgraceful, actually unlawful and as a union ( supposedly for the membership ) it lost all credibility to myself and others who were aware of the case. The President and one of the delegates actually were verbally unbiased in comments they made . You know I have supported the SHU more than most all my life but unfortunately the SHU has lost a real follower in myself, as , once again, it has failed in its duties to support its membership imo.
