True,Jim Wilkinson won with a brilliant performance when all feds from the west went to Eastbourne.He was 5th open and the next in the west was 162nd open, he had the best doo in the race that day by far,thats unquestionable .You have just shown your ignorance in loft location, why are Stirling in section D and hammer Almond valley and Central every *expletive removed* week.Stirling are in not a bad bit in inland races but in the channel races, you are in the best part of section D. I heard you say to someone the other night that he was in a good bit in the west section, expletive remove , he is located in section F but flies in section E so how can it be a good bit.Thats like me saying the guys in Dumfries are in the best part of section A, LOL

Lewis, I thought you were up to speed.Drag, wind and location, simple as that.In the years your talking about there were 3000 birds from the west in most races and the majority of fanciers were from here.Alot of them moved east for work when the pits shut down here and the rest is history. You watch any yb national result nowadays,the way the doos come is, section B, then A then C then D then G then E then F, THIS IS THE USUAL TREND.Its the same as any inland national off the east coast. Another thing Tam, im sure Lanarkshire fed went with the national that day as well, which makes it even worse.
