Thanks guys for the feed back .very much appreciated .hopefully try to get panel from further a field next year just for a change .no disrespect for the previous pannelists we have had in the previous years as you all have witnessed have been very entertaining and very much appreciated and made the nights so enjoyable. The venue and the timing of the event + Buffett seems to be fine ! Another great night on behalf of the blantyre h.s I would like to thank everyone that attended our presentation and made it an enjoyable night .also to our guests John leggate ,jim Hannah & Paul macalony who were on the panel sharing there knowledge and giving us some advice . Once again the Buffett was first class ,plenty food to go around .Even enough for a few doggy bags at the end . We aim to make these nights an enjoyable experience for everyone who attends and would appreciate any feed back wether it is positive or negative about the night as it is you guys that make it happen . Just to add the performance 2018 young bird winner was tallis & mcdonagh .the breeder of the young bird was Lewis mcalley. Lewis also bred 2017 winner for George Baird .the prize money for the performance 2018 yb will be £250 breeder £250 buyer due to the income of the sale .this will be presented on the night as well as a trophy. Even post it on here guys if you are coming just to give us an idea of numbers .thanks

Just a we reminder folks Blantyre HS annual presentation/buffet night takes place this coming Friday 9th March at Blantyre miners welfare 7 pm .once again we have top fanciers on the panel to share their knowledge of our great sport.(Billy Graham ,Billy bilsland & Morris bro's ) We also welcome our friends from Ayrshire who are in attendance every year and all our other fellow fanciers. It's the usual £5 pay at the door, first class buffet and a great venue . We will also have the breeder/buyer sale !which is judged on best performance at the end of season . 2017 winner was breeder L.mccalley Buyer G.baird Both winning £250 each + trophy.which will be presented on the night. Anyone can enter! if interested in donating 2018 yb please let me know.
