hi, can anyone tell me if its possible to get/buy a ring list from 05 onwards...as im trying to verify some stock birds i have recently got,to see what areas they originated from...or if someone has a list and they can look them up for me id be very gratefull...(there are only 6 birds), thanks.

hi,no bubbles at bottom of eye, dont think its one eyed cold because as the name implise it would effect one of the eyes ...continually closing the eye, which she isnt.

anyone have any idea why one of my ybs wattle has gone a bit greesey/browny colour? been away from parents about 8 days...nest mates is lovely and white. bird seems perfectly healthy...tight feathers...solid droppings etc. been like this for about 4 days now... any advise please???

yes joe61, ive had that trouble before. thats why i didnt want them on the floor as it causes a lot of unnecessary fighting. plus the ybs are open to attack by other cocks when they are left unattended by parents.

just read your reply bewted, do you think it is too risky??they have bred some lovely ybs and i dont want to loose these eggs,but i did not really want them on the floor???

thanks phil. i was wondering if ive left the ybs in with them for too long,and they didnt want to go back to the nest box. ill give it a try and see what happens, thanks.

one of my hens has just laid the first of her second round of eggs on the floor,she has left her nest box(took ybs away about 6 days ago)and prefers the floor. as she is due to lay her 2nd egg tomorrow if i lock her in the nest box with the 1st egg when she lays the 2nd will she take to the box again and sit both the eggs??? dont really want her on the floor but if theres a chance i could loose this round of eggs by forcing her ill leave her. any advise please???

thanks for everyones advise,was going to take her to vets today but when i went to loft this morning she looked a little bit better,not as puffed out and she had some fresh water and ate some food.decided to go to local corn shop and they gave me FLOROXINE to put on the food but im thinking to use a syringe and put it down her throat so i know she is getting some....any thoughts on doing this please???

no i put her straight in the loft,i only have 6 pigeons and they all came togeather from the same loft 6 days ago.

no she has not laid,i only bought her 6 days ago and she was paired up 2/3 days later.is it anything ive done wrong since ive had her or will it have already been going wrong before i bought her?i have been putting g.s.e. in water???

no not dumb,good point.when i picked her up she felt a bit light but still had muscle on her...she looked fine yesterday.

hi,can anyone tell me what i can give one off my hens,went in this morning and she was sat hunched up/feathers blown just sat looking half asleep.it wont eat its food and ive looked down its throat and nothing there.shes not that bad,ive seen worse but rather sort it now if it is something ...may be just a bit off it,might be ok tommorrow??? i dont know.?...was ok last night.
