well i thought it was a good tool, saves phoneing everyone up to tell them the birds are liberated, and a national club with loads of members could use it to send a text massage letting people know the birds are up.

the system is gps so the signal can be tracked all over the world the satalite is in space just like your car satnav system

due to fog and rain tests are cancelled till after xmas i will post for you when i do them

my harness arrived today and is now fitted with the tracker, the bird seems fine with the harness on will test it with the unit tomorrow and i will post the results

HELLO ALL A HAPPY XMAS I HAVE STARTED A PROJECT TO GET SOME INFO ON MY BIRDS FLIGHT PATHS. I NOW HAVE A GPS UNIT SMALL ENOUGH FOR A BIRDS BACK AND HAVE ORDERED A HARNESS TO ATTACH IT TO THE BIRD, MY GPS UNIT IS SMALL AND WORKS A TREAT I HAVE TESTED IT ON A WALK TO MY DADS HOUSE (SEE PHOTO) ITS GONNA TAKE A LITTLE TIME TO TRAIN THE BIRD TO CARRY IT. HAS ANYONE HAVE ANY INFO OR SITES FOR ME TO LOOK AT FOR MORE INFO ETC

I would just like to mention that the birds at this race went to france, some on the Tuesday and came back to the uk for this race due to bird flu, the birds looked in top condition and well looked after, i was made most welcome by everyone at the site and really enjoyed the day
