good view old yellow, i also think children should be introduced at an understandable age, i enjoy the pigeons , my ex brother in law was the one to get me hooked, my son is now involved and is the main guy in the family and his son who is 4 is as keen as him which is good. oh happy days :)

I was wondering, and welcome peoples opinions and veiws on why they are in the pigeon fraternity, where their fathers in the sport ,was it introduced to them due to being a hobby when young, are you starting now as a newcomer and its the first time . Is it a big interest in your family, how many members of your family are actually interested in the sport..? maybe this would give us some insight to best possibly promote the sport ? which areas to concerntrate on... come on guys input needed. oh happy days

birds should bath when they can, a fit bird will never turn down a bath, keep water clean, or if you would like some bath salts for pigeons. but why bother, oh happy days

paul what i think is if you have boxs at home ready then all you do is box them up and give to the driver no rush for you and no waiting for him some moan about a couple of quid its just a little bit of help for the driver oh happy days

i think that the fancier should provide his own boxes, are we that hard up for a couple of quid, in most cases i have seen boxes sent that are worth more than the pigeons..lol ;D oh happy days

i know what you said, thats why i reiterated van den bosche based, i asked where the red colour comes from, and i have just spoken to mark masserella and he agreed with me, no red or mealy pigeons, must have something else in them, so all i want to know is what have these been crossed with jason... where does the red factor come from . so you will find i am right on VDB do not carry this colour when pure only... not based. they are lovely babies, just asked a question mate !! no hard feelings oh happy days

the chocolate VDB are a recessive red gene, not normal reds, normal reds cannot be produced from them, i do not care what louella pigeon world have stated, they are wrong and if they have any question in this, they can talk to my son 07989 746150. karel meuleman and aadrian wouters never had red factor pigeons, ask karel Meuleman yourself if you have any questions as he knew Jos Van Den Bosche, take a look at herman Beverdams site, not one red factor pigeon, he will inform you the same as i have, louella are wrong. They maybe VDB based and i am bot saying anything wrong with the 6 youngsters as they look lovely, but there is something else crossed into them at some stage to get the red or mealy pigeons. you will find i am telling you the truth.. and pure meulemans or Vanden bosche do not have red or mealys. sorry guys but they are not pure VDB , but lovely babies nether the less. oh happy days

actually old yellow.. When did there ever appear to be reds or mealys in the van den bosche pigeons.... there were never any !! so as they are VDB based what else is in them, and by just looking at them they can be seen as not pure van den bosche.. oh happy days

you claim the neighbours will or might claim pigeons being nuisance to them by sitting on their roof... well by throwing a ball at them, you just created this problem, or can you not see it...???? as for taking off when you appear with the ball, yes i would to if you threw something at me, thats probably why you suffer bad traps, you create problems for yourself. and this is advice is it... god help us all for idiots are within our sport, bit like a fella running around a field in whelly boots chasing pigeons with a broom,,, a certain mr nicholls i think, how daft did that look.. well look how you want , throw your balls and veg.. mad the bloody lot of yer that do this stupid thing, i give up, happy days or not ;D ;D ;D
