Dont see much difference from my post to Bart,s Archie. Both along the same lines. Feds should be organising joint convoying inland not the National.

Just think the National should be for the National and the Feds should have got their heads together and organised the joint convoying.

Aint been on for a while Square-Peg but just for the record I dont like the idea of duplicating birds into a National or having Feds liberating with the National birds. I pay my fees each year to the National and dont think it is right that I could win the National but still only be 2nd in my club because the guy who wins the club is not a National member. would take all the glory from my pigeon so my pigeons will be going to the Fed races on the inland National days where before Ive emptied the loft to the National.

If you are flying in the SNFC race you will have to go to an SNFC marking station. If you are only flying in your Fed your Fed may be allowed to ferry the birds in, but those members who wish to fly SNFC will have to go to the SNFC marking station and then arises the problem with some here and others there and getting all the paperwork together. Just out of interest I was against this as I dont think my birds should be sitting at a racepoint waiting for the weather up country when they could be on their way home before it clears or get held over. Also my Fed arent goin with the SNFC but are going with Pentland and Scottish Borders.

Wings it was the Members who decided to bring in the charge at an AGM and also decided how much it was going to be. If your not happy with this come along to the next AGM and put a motion in to remove it. There will be plenty room for you.

I bought Nest box cups at Blackpool twin ones with a bar to screw on to the box £1.90 each.in the catalogue same ones are £1.85 and on the website £1.65. Sent an E-Mail to complain aint even had the courtesy to reply. What makes it worse is I got a Petron Catalogue at the show on Sun read it when i got home and the same ones are only £1.20 which would have saved me £14.00.

Thought the Scottish Pigeon Trust Stand was very well run and you do not need to spend huge sums of money on a big fancy Stand for it to be run right. I,m sure if the RPRA & BHW had to pay the full price per foot for a Stand which by the way is how it is calculated they wouldnt have had so much footage. I was made very welcome at the stand and was given a cup of tea which i was,nt offered when visiting the RPRA stall.

I was staying in the Claremont and it was excellent Good food n good clean rooms. Booked again for nxt year. Got home tonight. Cheers to Speck n Rose n Wiley who I met on the Sunday was a good weekend.

To get back to the Inland Nationals ? Firstly the members of the SNFC will have to vote to have two inland races and secondly the proposed date that I hear for the Maidstone race is the week we should be going to the Gold Cup Race ie the longest day. Oh and another thing why would want to pay more money to duplicate for Maidstone when I can go with my Fed for a £1 a bird?

So Mr Bryant reckons the RPRA cannot sustain another season like last year. Read somewhere about a loss of some £33,000. I just wonder if the Scottish members will be calling foul and asking for an Audit commitee to be set up as they did when they tried to discredit the SHU who once again show a surplus on the year.

Frank Sheader has a loft built with planks of wood with an Inch gap between each one and lined with mesh to keep out vermin. Birds in there looked immaculate.
