  3. Thanks for your comments. Last year i paired the 07 red cock to a busheart (loaned to me by Red Cheq hen) and bread a cheq cock and a dak cheq hen they both flew upto 200 miles and i was wondering if the hen would pair to one of the 09 young birds and it would make a good cross back in? Regards Dave
  4. With me just starting up i feel Bob has been very kind giving me these ones. I would not want to be greedy. I just thought that people already fly these pigeons may have tried and crossed in strains that have done well for them. As stated before they may need an out crossing. Regards Dave
  5. Thanks for the information. i do not know what strain of Bob Mc's he never said, they are all alike to look at and to handle though and very differant to my van reets. The only thing is out of the 4 young birds 3 are cocks and the 07 bird he gave is also a cock, what strain of hen will add into them to keep them right? Any idea's Regards Dave
  6. Thanks Paddymac, it's nice to hear from someone who's racing them. I have red 07 cock and 4 x 09's 2x dk cheq, light cheq and cheq pied. They are being kept to breed off. I will be trying one's off them this year. Regards Dave
  7. Hi can anyone tell me anything about Bob McDonalds Pigeons? As he has kindly bread me some. I understand they are distance birds. By the way they look and handle realy well. Thanks Dave
  8. i think i was very lucky this time the hawk was right amoust them they did take off and fly around for about 5 mins but they came straight back down and in they did'nt seem bothered. I think they just thought it was another pigeon and what frightened them was me shouting at the hawk and trying to get it. The hawks are getting very brave. Dave
  9. Hi Susan, it just came from no where and while i was with them getting them in. It's a big bird and in good condition but must be hungry. Dave
  10. I know it’s stating the obvious but watch out for hawks. I let my pigeons out this morning and whilst getting them in a hawk attacked. I chased it off it flew about 10 foot up and struck again not even 6 foot away from me. Fortunately it did not injure any. So watch out they seem desperate at the moment. Dave
  11. Thanks Timo, i will look forward to trying the new version. Regards Dave
  12. Hi Timo, First let me say what a great program, i have entered all my stock and all the birds from their pedigree's and everything work as it should. You asked for feedback if we found anything well it might be me but when i edit a pigeon details i.e. ring number year the progran lets me edit the the number by pressing edit then after i make the changes and press save it saves the pigeon's details but without the changes made. I wonder if you could help i case it's me. I have managed to get round the issue by deleting the pigeon’s details and entering them correctly again. I hope this makes sense Regards Dave
  13. Hi Timo, i think they mean it downloads to documents (It does not have a short cut icon to click to open) All i did was click the aplication file after openng the planner folder and it opens fine. It seems good although i have not had a change yet to use everything. Well done Timo Dave
