  7. look at the wood pigeons nest if you can you will see its 2 eggs from the ground and it uses silver birch twiggs what i have noticed when i use them is all the dust scale etc from youing ones falls right through the nest to the bottom of pan were as with nest felts its kept in the pan cut them 6 inches long and they dont pierce the young birds it gives them firm footing in the nest no splayed legs ,try it

  12. twiggs from silver birch trees use loads of them collect them by the bag full every time am out with the dogs and duncan they are FREE
  13. dont use nest felts and think they are a lot of rubbish dust collecters like and places for bacteria to hide

    been single rearing young birds for the past 20 odd years and never ever had a young bird with splayed legs ,in my opinion this is down to the lack of nesting materials

One of these days you will poison a bird/raptor and it will belong to a wildlife officer or a normal copper and then you will really come undone so you are trying to tar us pigeon fanciers as the same as these people who done this ,how would it be of an eagle owl took one of your precious birds when you were flying it how would you behave shrugg your shoulders and say thats nature ?????
