i dont think there is much you can do mate . sparrowhawks have hearts the size of lions , ive flown a few and they will think nothing of going after woodpigions that are maybe 4 times their own size

as you know eagle owl sent me some fantails (thanks again mate ) my wife arranged for amtrak to pick them up yesterday, they were deliverd this morning great ,, only one slight problem , i havent paid them a penny ,, i was expecting my missus to pay by card when booking and she was expecting me to pay cash when the birds were dropped off ;D

so is a faintail still a fantail even tho its not white ?? , and is a white fantail a dove .?? or do they all come under the same name??

does anybody know why eagle owls are always for sale? because folk buy them thinking that they have the owl from harry potter, that is until it foots you and you realise you have a bird weighing in around the 4lb mark with a grip like a vice and talons 4inches long attached to your anatomy,, lol

hi , after mooching around your great site now for a number of days i have become smitten with fancy doos ,,lol , i am a falconer of some 10 years now (boo hiss i hear you say lol ), but after sufferering a nervous breakdown last feb my hearts just not in it any more , i was looking into taking up a hobby that still included birds , (finches or budgie) , but i have been hooked with the pictures of the nuns tumblers etc that are on this site. as from tomorrow my 2 hawks aer up for sale and i will be converting my birds quarters into a loft , its 6mx3mx3m with two 3mx3m external flights,,, so if anybody knows of anyone looking for a pere/saker or harris , pm me for details brian
