Its a good little show, especially for brownie points with the mrs as i planned this year to stay at the Campilline hotel on on the site and spend part of Saturday with her ice skating, kids play area and the rest with pigeons - Happy comprimise.

  11. Your out in the sticks though John im in the slums lol ;D Not accounting for birds dropped racing or training as some must have been hit by the hawks but i think i have stiched one up in 5 years that has got home.
  12. Did you go direct Chris?
  13. Yeah fly the hens. But pleased to say we very very rarely have had problems with hawks taking birds.
  14. They are on their way to a 10 miler, after maybe 5 of these they will go to 20 miles and a couple at 30. The chuck from the racepoint is something new but worked well for those that did it last season.
  15. These are the list of people i know of - Gangster Myself BLACK WF Leighton - Via yourself Al the Gooner Little Sam Also had a member of the site visit who had ordered from yourself last year although i wont mention his name as not sure he would appreciate it,also another lad down Essex way. Sure some Welsh lads also collected last week
  16. Spoke with Brian he is happy to do it, will sort out a day and see what interest is about town in it and Brian will sort a price out. Think should be looking at around 100 birds to make it viable. First race is approx 68 miles John.

    some bairns

Very nice mate Dont let Old Yellow see the top one, think he is sucker for a nice red.
  18. The pigeons going to Blaz are bred by Gerry Clements, Roger Sutton or in the case of the Flor engels Geoff Kirkland and they will be a important part of my breeding once they come back or go to Steve's to use for me. (Blaz has them on loan) This year my concentration is mainly on the RDD, Linderaufs and Van de rhees but i always look for good pigeons not neccesarily for this year but next and the year after. My reason for commenting on the selling of the RDD pigeons is that i know it would make your day Joe to see me advertise some for sale but wont happen - It would be a costly mistake for me to break my word with Ronny and ruin a good relationship through the temptation of short term financial gain.
  19. No - If anyone wants to buy them they will have to find a different source which shouldnt be that hard as many lofts now have them.
  20. I cant offer any there is already a list of people for first refusal with the breeder being number 1, the chap who brought them over number 2 and a Scottish Geordie number 3 so afraid not. ;D
  21. No probs mate, sure they will do well for you especially the Thas/Engels
  22. Plan to give the cocks a toss this afternoon i think from 10 miles as its the first of the year and have plenty of time to build them up. The plan is to give them a toss from the race point the week before the racing starts - Havent asked the courier yet though if he fancies doing it.

Would rather use the 70,000 euros to buy a property and rent it out myself - Seems a little less risky that the risk of finding the bird dead on the nest three weeks after buying.
  25. I have only just paired one section of stock up and all the young will race the programme fine. Last season i had several late from Geoff Clare and all these completed the young bird programme
