I'm glad you enjoyed your visit Jimmy, there are some very nice fancy pigeons out there and some of them are good active fliers. I fly my birds Samantha but not everyone does, they can be quite vulnerable and at a disadvantage. Some of the short-faced breeds have a problem raising babies, it's not so much that the parents have trouble feeding, its more a case that the babies have difficulty inserting a very short beak into the parents'. I guess the beak is a particular length for a reason! You are right about the Oriental Frills, the different markings are sub-varieties. Best wishes, Graeme

Thanks Samantha, These are German Shield Owls in the first photo, nice little birds and good breeders, they don't have any problem raising their own young whereas Frills are a bit too short in the beak.
