there should be some sort of rule ,that states if your bird is reported, you must make necessary arragements to have it returned or transfered.

a gentlemans bird came into my loft in july. i reported it and although the owner was of ill health, he still had the bird picked up via his mate. just over a week later (on my birthday) the bird came back to my loft with a fresh rubber on. i reported it again and it is now transfered to me.

hi. my 6yr old son collects pigeon rings. hes been collecting for about 2 months. he has 10 npa 07 rings. if anyone would like them for free? i could send them to you. the reason im giving them away is with him being young it seems a bit difficult if he has all the different types of rings. so i think its best he sticks with racing rings for now. he also has some belg rings with cards if anyone would like to swap for the same year ring without card.

if you wanted more money. firstly, you should of put a price,not asked for offers. secondly, when dovescot offered you a price, you could of said no thanks, im looking for more. not let him believe he has bought them, then sell them to someone else. im sure if you let dovescot know you wanted more money, he would of offered you a different price. im new to this site but, i have noticed, dovescot is one of the many fair, honest and genuine people on here. and didnt deserve an insult.

that was a bit out of order ali. dovescot was genuinly interested in your birds,you never advertised a price,so offered you one. you could of told him you wanted more for them,but you led him to believe he had bought them, to go on and then insult him.

im new to this sport (or i should now say hobby, as its not classed as sport :-/) also to this site. i came accross the site 1 day, and found it had usefull information. so thought it would benefit my lack of knowledge. i had 4 or 5 birds at the time due to losing 13 ybs i had bought. i was offered some latebreds off a kind gentleman, who also has given me great advice. ive also been gifted some birds to breed from and ive bought some to breed from. the problem most new comers may face is, if your new, how do you know what birds to buy? you could keep buying rubbish, if like me you dont know what your looking for. so people who offer you birds make it a lot easier for the ones who are new and dont know much about this hobby
