hi there,
im no expert but basically, tippler pigeons are a high flying breed of pigeon that come in 2 types ,exhibition and flying.
the flying types are known for their endurance flying and can fly up high (almost out of sight) for up to 18-22 hours.the name tippler derives from the way they sometimes tipple or tip their wings in flight.
the exhibition types are a chunkier bird that is bred purely for showing.although they will still fly they are basically a show bird.
tumblers are pigeons thats perform somersaults whilst in flight and there are various breeds (the west of england for eg.).rollers on the other hand also somersault but are generally thought of as being better performers.they are capable of multiple rolls whilst falling from the sky before pulling out of the "spin" and flying back upwards .
again there are two types ,flyers and exhibitions.the birmingham roller for example comes in both the flying and show type.
