The members of the Forfar Pigeon Club are holding their annual Breeder/Buyer Sale on Sunday 22nd April in the club rooms. Birds penned at 12 noon sale starts at 1pm. A great chance to get some fantastic new blood, with the members regularly having the fed champion and the members scoring very highly in both combine and national competitions. Great bargains to be had and remember its a breeder/buyer. Better still bring a bird along and buy it back and you can win both prizes.

I am hoping to get birds picked up fae Forres this week if thats any help.

Transport was one of the problems as well as the birds getting home too early for the working man, but if enough people put their heads together anything is possible. We need to be positive and find solutions not obstacles. I am sure if enough people are interested in getting the club back up and running again we can do it.

Great idea Dave, thats what we are looking for new ideas.

I won the old bird averages in either 91 or 92, just pipped fancier down in Wellbank, but cant remember his name. I remember the late Italian Stallion ( Joe Russo ) of Forfar and his great bird winning twice. What a great club. Lets see if we can get something started up again. We can start by asking around fellow club mates and get some idea of what the interest is with them and come back and post on this site and we can take it from there. Brian
