hi,i have one pair for the last 2 years have only given out cocks every nest had two chicks

i think it would depend on wether your having breeding boxes or box perches i had a loft that size when i first started and i kept 6 pair in it and they were fine until i swaped box perches for breeding boxes there wasnt enough room and the birds just kept bumping there wings the only thing i could do was put smaller breeding boxes on the side wall the 4ft lengh this seemed to make things easyer hope this helps

yes your right about best to best i think thats the pairs i do put together myself the rest im just hopeing for a fluke match that breed winners

hi what do you lot think is better when pairing up,im going to pick a few pair out of my choice and pair them to eachother and the rest will be left to pick there own mate would be interested to know how many fanciers let there birds pair to what the birds want and not what they've picked for them

i have bred bulldogs for many years an agree with you theres alot mor to a dog than one who knows what its doing the tempremant is first then show quality and then ped im not knocking this dog shure it is what it states but do understand what mac1 is saying

good idea m8 that would stop people like coxy but people cant give you any guarentees with there birds you buy them and you take the chance if there good or not, good birds breed no hopers so this is the fall i see in a feedback system

see what your saying but the bird i picked i could see its ped online the new bird i have no clue what it came from,i havent even had a certificate of origin.even so if they are selling birds showing there ped online you should recive it i did not pay huge amounts for the bird but i payed enough for a pd to come with it.and when i phoned they sead nothing about the bird not coming with a ped just they would look in to it

hi, i bought a bird from louellas website this was two and a half months ago, the original bird i picked was sick so they sead michal would pick me another and what a pick he made cracking little hen,however i still even after contacting them through e-mail and phone conversations have not been sent a ped or even confermation of what breed the bird is i have had the transfer but nothing else, i would have bought more birds as i have liked the look of a few on the site but dare i buy another, im not happy what do you think i should do? thanks matt
