    i had this problem a long time ago a old fancier asked if i had picked my pairs for next year. he said put hens in nest box where thay are going let them see cock but thats all for a few days ,when you let your cocks out let you hens out in loft for feed and drink, then put them back in nest box,it solved problem for me cheers stew

    just read on other fourm that NFC are having poll if thay should fly north many friends of mine in scottland had a bad year ,in young bird racing .the last thing thay want is clashing with english feds on a sat may let have one from banockburn ;D ;D ;D
  18. hi novice do you have any birds left you bred from this stock cock if you have wait and see what thay breed next year . breeding from stock birds is not allways instance success . have you never stoppped to think it may bee the wrong hen he was paired to
  19. thay may be sitting on roof reason one you my be over feeding or two may be going on moult if over feeding cut down to one ounce off feed per bird once a day example twenty 20 birds 20 ounces try feeding when last bird comes in
  20. i once had the same problem with lice on birds tried every thing to free them from lice then i found the best way a pail of warter with half a bottle of DURAMITEX and dip them .then give them a bath 2 days later . worked for me
