sorry kev43. just give loft a good clean out and spray on a sunny day

pigeon loft must never smell if they is a smell two many pigeons in loft for the Ventilation

one out side so you can check what Differences is. if you get the humidity right the pigeon's will rest at night same with humans. we can close & open the windows if 2 cold or too hot they can not. it all about the Climate in the loft

did have them years ago last 2 just gone. bilco can tell you about him.

thats life black w/f only two types of racing pigeons good one's and bad one's. results are what we are all after.

chev 43 . just get 2 one for out side of loft and one for the inside of loft.

I did look at the XTC plates at Blackpool and run them of a temp&humidity thing. but the price of the things was 2 much at the time i have seen that jos thorne use the small stone type in each nest boxe any one else seen any thing used the same way.

got it of ebay was not 2 much. best thing i have ever got help me set up loft

cheers king billy am all ways looking to make things better for the birds and me. i think if the birds are well the rest is down to me to get the best out of them.

what do you think is the humidity in your loft. my loft is 59% as you can see from the picture

881 my best hen paired up to me did take a 1st club and some cards this year

they do get a nice warm bath twice a week. do not know if it helps to be warm but i think it helps remove the old oils

just some update pics of birds resting till next years racing.

my lass asked me if we like to live over there for 2-3 years as her dads a manx. no racing so am staying in Yorkshire lol

is they any racing on the isle of man.

its nice to see cocks coming back in a line to check loft then of back in the sky gone for 15-20mins then same again back to check things again. when loft doors open you have to watch your self as they will attack loft to get to boxes.

its not the time that they fly but the speed around loft 30 mins going like nuts better than 1hr flopping round any day. if you watch the cocks you see things what they do when right. lol if you do not no what to look for go watch best flyers in your area birds round there lofts fly ;) 8)
