  4. cheers m8..but does the birds droppings soak in more than they do ply wood?
  5. mornning lads,,i am putting this thread on but i dont no the name of the wood ..anyway i bought a a loft of my m8 this a few months ago for my widowhood cocks tiled roof but he as made the floor out of that green wood ..i think it comes in 8ft lenths and is only say about 2ft wide...it clips together and i think its made out of chipboard...im not shore...they may use it in house aticks...not shore but i think you no what i mean....what i wont to ask is cos i carnt get hold of my m8 to ask im is the droppings on it seem to soak in more than they do in the other loft which is a ply floor...when i scrape them up it seems to not dry and goes a blacky colour..ive tried putting loft white on it but it soon comes back....i was thinking of buying some ply today to put over it but carnt realy afford to...the pigeons are dear enough to look after with out buying this and that....ive been reading the wet dropping thread and just wondering if there wet them selves or is it the wood...does anyone else use this green clip wood on there loft floors and if they do can they post me a photo of it after they have scraped out..i would be very great full...cheers lads.....mark..

  23. cheers m8,,ile try the parostop on my birds this year then the young birds next,,,see what happens then..i no a few lads that never ever get ybs,,well thats what they tell me,,, :( :( :( :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/
  24. hi lindsay m8,,i no what you mean about the dreaded ybs,,.we just wont to race our young birds without getting it...ive had it every year since ive had pigeons ,,11 years..and im just about had enough of it..2 years ago i lost half my team cos of it,,secondry infection,,these cost me alot of money,,but they died even through going threw 3 vets and more money...this parostop sounds good to me..ive never used it either,,i would pay thousands ££££££ if some one would come up with a cure that stops it...i packed in racing for 2 years and started back up agin last year only to get ybs once again.. :o :o :o this time it hit them hard once again but none died this time but got a secondry once again....loads of money to get them right again also 3 vets....it took months to get them right after loads of antibitics which i hated useing,,i just dont wont to go there again next year the same as you m8.....all the best if this parostop works to both of us.....regards ,,,,mark..
