Didnt think i could beat my Chenoise 02 result when we were 7th open and only 4th fifer and 2nd club but 5th open 4th fifer and 3rd club i think we've managed. (but not complaining)
Agree with your thoughts, modern transport with drinkers on 3 sides has to be the way forward. Back to the thread i myself raced yesterday from the Fife Fed transporter from Wakefield 185 miles with full returns from 19 sent.
Fife Fed from Wakefield 185 miles 19 from 19 sent, clocked at 14-14 from a 10-15 lib. Birds were well spilt up with big gaps but turned out fine in the end.
All the best Alex, hope everything works out well for you in your new surroundings. It wont be long and we'll see your name on the result sheets again.
Ripon 154 miles with Fife Fed 18 from 21 sent. Others i know of 7 from 7 and 17 from 20, seems returns have been ok but i could still do with my other 3.
Good toss Dougie, got them all but took a while. Most seem to come back up from the east with many having to think a bit, which will do them good at this stage. Lets hope for more of the same.
Good luck with your hen. Strike while the iron is hot, if you didn't send her you would always wonder what if. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.
