7/7 from Fife Fed Ripon 154 miles. Timed 13-14 from 9-00 Lib. Also had 1 from last week and 1 from first yb race today so 9/7 This is first yb race this year all racing club members had decent returns at clocks which is 2 hours after 1st bird.

Several good posts on this topic. Also i watched a TV prog lately about bee keepers who stated that hives located in areas that had good mobile phone signals only around 40% of the bees return to the hive, but areas with a poor mobile phone signal over 90% of the bees return to the hive.

7/11 today for us from Fife Fed Sedgefield 123 miles. Timed at 12-14 from 9-00 lib, got 6 within half an hour then only another one all day. (The joys of pigeon racing)

My thoughts too, we still only have 5/41 from 11-30 lib and only 45 miles. And were not alone

Sad to hear this news about our friend and clubmate Davy Davison. I will miss our talks about preparing birds to fly 500 miles. Davy would never say a lot but when he talked about 500 mile pigeons you listened. RIP Davy.

Just had some good news. Best hen in our team who was missing from Alencon has been reported in Chesterfield. She was handed into the fancier about 2 weeks ago at deaths door but luckily she has pulled through. Not often you get the good ones reported so a big thankyou to Mr and Mrs Birch from Chesterfield.

Auld man let our 3rd bird in at 5-50 and 4th at 8-45 this morning, 4/4 here now.
