  1. I have been feeding half there reg/grain & half safflower for 7 days now and they are in the moult. what a diffrents the safflower makes they are looking real good.

  3. I think the way mother nature intended, is the birds need to be outcrossed, same thing as a cross just long distance, from new blood

  6. If you have a pigeon that breeds good racers and you take the eggs and put under another pigeon, how long would it be before that one you pull the eggs from lay again? Ed

    what will be the effect if you feed pigeons just safflower? i was told by a friend that safflower has the complete nutritional value that racing pigeons need. and to balance it, he just add barley as a source of carbohydrates.

  10. How often, would you guys road train in the heat it has been 105 here in Louisiana. and will they lose weight, mine have a thin chest not round like I like it. Ed

Thanks for the reply pigeon_man, I am just getting started in to the sport so for I Love it, I for one wont to use the wind up clock because what's the piont of racing if you are not going to enjoy watching them come home. if I can't be home I just will have to miss out on one here and there.   14. I found a clock I could buy here in the usa, and would like to know if it is a good one STB wind-up Deluxe 14 bird. its hard to find clocks here in the us lol Ed
  15. symbro, they are 10 weeks but a friend give them to me because he was over stocked. yes the other 13 that are trap train I started training them at 30 days old. Ed

  18. I have 13 birds that are about 4 months old have them loft fling. I also have 6 more about 10 weeks old do you think I could fly them with the 13 that are trapping good? I just thinking that the 13 birds would train the younger birds to trap like they do thanks Ed

  21. Thank you all for the replies, this helps alot being that I am a beginner and have not raced any birds yet. I have a team of 13 as of now and they are trapping from 2 mile tosses just as soon as they get home. Ed

  24. At what age do you start road training young birds, a lot of people say when they start rangeing for a hour or so but I just like to know what age to road train Ed.
