if this had been a fed race the race controler and convoyer would have been sacked i stay about 10 mls as the crow flies from s/queensferry and i have never seen the hills all day the weather has been rain all day and a cold wind i dont think many birds would leave the central belt total disgrace I feel for the poor pigeons..

hi all just to let you all know how things wrwe progresing as i think i must have got it just in time as only one bird died and about 5 others were bringing up food so on friday they were put on a course of baytril and kept in loft by monday morning no birds were being sick so decided to let them out in the afternoon to see how they would fly and they did almost 2 hrs not started training them again as i wanted to finnish the course of treatment so far everthing seems to be okay thanks to eveyone who put on posts and pm me thanks tyson

thanks for all the advice went to vet today birds now on baytril for 5/7 days one died this morning 24 hrs after showing syptoms now just awaiting game let you all know how things turn out

what i have done is put all the birds on a 3 day course of sulphametazine for cocci to try to stop the build up of cocci olso givin the birds affected a baytril capsule hoping this works

hi all regarding miltons you cannot use miltons in tanks or troughs that are metal or galvinised as it causes a reaction with the metal

pentland/midlothian feds not much better iv 17 from 52 weather frm below darlington up to newcastle was terrible as i was looking at it on the radar olso on the web cams what was wrong with holding them till sunday with a good forcast????????

thanks for some of the replies i was also told that the weather at tow law was not that great with a lot of low cloud i believe dundee fed were at otterburn so they would know what other feds were there thanks
