Guys Did any of you attend Frank Sheader's auction of Soontjen Pigeons in Durham & what did you think of them / purchase.

The Soontjens are very steady pigeons. I bought all my stock direct off Frank Sheader.

I have already tried Frank but he wont sell any off this pair unless it's through an auction. I have managed to look through Franks sale list in this weeks BHW, but unfortunately their are no hens in the auction direct from Silver x Gold.

A layer of residue under the tongue. The youngster is eating and the droppings appear to be fine but it looks miserable.

Geordie i have had five tosses to date the first one was a disaster as percy went straight through the batch, since then everything has been fine. I intend to go to all the races with my natural younsters but who knows as one bad race can finish your season.

I have discovered a youngster tonight with white deposits in it's beak / throat. All younsters have recentlty been treated for five days with 10% Ronidazole so i doubt it's Canker. Could this be Candida (Thrush) & what is the best medication to treat it with?

Took my 44 youngsters to Carnwath this morning for a training toss, liberated them at 9am they done two circles then Percy went straight through them. Got my first two doos at 11am. that's me got another three 5/44 doess't look good.
