  5. i just give them their normal feed on day of basketing but in the morning and depending the race distance give them a light feed just before basketing? im a believer that you wouldnt go to work on an empty stomach or eaten to much either

  15. sorry to hear that john its getting out of hand now, i had the same yesterday 1st toss peregrine in amonst them im still waiting on 7??
  16. took the birds for a training toss the day about 15 miles nothing serious, liberated 50 birds at 2pm 20 seconds later, bang!! peregrine straight in amongst them dont think it got any but they birds scattered to the 4 corners, its now 6 pm and im missing 10, getting fed up of this constant hammering the pigeons are taking, beging to think is it worth it?? only wish i had the gun with me as the dam thing would have taken lead???

  25. i work offshore about 135 miles east of montrose, just wondering how long it is before we see the the lost pigeons start to appear,its a shame as the helicopter companies, bristows, bond and chc helicopters dont allow pigeons in the aircraft now ( to the central field ) so getting the birds to the beach if you catch them is getting more difficult, we now have to ask the skippers of supply and standby vessels if they will take the birds in with them & release on the beach giving them a sporting chance? otherwise im afraid they fly around untill they drop basically, i think our various unions should maybe be lobbying the helicopter companies and try pesuading them to be a little more flexible towards the transporting of pigeons to the beach?? john
