  3. we are trying the north rd with ayr this year touch wood only lost 2 average 30 per week from 3 races can it have somthing to do with no other pigeon traffic in the lib area apart maybee aberdeen /nth scot fed compared to the rest of the traffic in the border/nth england area going all directions

    will take any 18 was just guess anyway is a bird actually in the loft when timed using stall trap just another aside we could argue al nite ets is legal now thats it if i want it i will get it if i want stall traps i will make them i use what suits me iam happy thats what counts not ex amount of seconds

    thats correct fifer i use open doors so can i have the allowance over ets then again over the stall trap about 18 sec should do it
  9. very true roland i fly to the west coast with very limited success this year we were invited to join a new nth rd club most of the guys said it will never work then you explain 1st drop shortest flying a compleat opposite of the sth rd 10 joined and a big success 3 races were up there and winning every week a big lift for me instead of the long waits of the sth rd you have to take advatage of whats on offer
  10. if birds hit obstacles then the site is unsuitable for libs been to many that would have the fancier up in arms .was there not talk that officials lanark i think would check lib sites did this happen good sites dont guarrentee good racing but the birds need a clear start
  11. an ex -my mesurement from gretna for a club race is 89 miles so you might expect 89 mile overfly say from the national alencon against a loft in gretna sadly i get 60 miles its all down to the racepoint location in or case how far east or west

  17. best to have big avery bigest you can fit have the birds walking about on the grass and big enough so they can fly a bit in and out of the new loft would leave them till next feb/march last time i moved the avery was bigger than the loft hard work but worth it as it was the o/birds that paid occasional visit back but they were back by feed time
