I would like the snfc to have two inland nationals for duplication with federations but move from newbury to another site and keep maidstone.Then have four water races alencon,tours falaise,lille.Then two young bird national races this would give everyone in scotland a race programme that they could go to some of the races that they want to go or all the races.

At this point i could not say until Andy Garven and his team work it all out.I would say around about the same as the last race from the snfc around 4300 in the snfc and around about 1300 in federation only.This is good for the snfc and also the federations that have used the snfc to ferry the fed birds to Maidstone it means that these feds wont run at a loss in this race this year ie fife,dundee,angus ets. Lets hope that next year more races more birds for all to fly in the snfc and duplicate in some of the races and also get another race from france.May be that we can get a race from lille same as lanarkshire and also go together this again helping the members.

We have around 5500 in total on the transporter.This is a great entry for the first year lets hope that we can get everyone on board for next year in scotland and we could have up to 8000/9000 birds at this race next year. I am also aware of some problems at some of the marking stations ets,baskets space but lets look at the good side first year 5500 birds and this will get better with experiance.

The SNFC have a race from Maidstone this week.We hope to have 5000 to 7000 birds.Should be a good race for all the members who can also duplicate into there federations.

Northwest fed should be at Ripon but if the weather isnt any better in the next 24 hours then we might just have a race from otterburn.This will be decided by 12noon today friday.We will see what the forcast is at noon today and then see if we basket today for saturday or basket saturday for sunday. I want the birds to have a chance for the members to send them back next week to the fed open and the snfc race from maidstone also the idear of a come back race is for training for birds to go to the big snfc races in the next 2/3 weeks all you want is for the birds to have a nice race to set them all up. The other reason for a come back race is for birds that have missed races earlier in season to get a race under them before the end of the season. Then there are the feds who like the come back race because they make money from them.

The result will be on the snfc web page tonight Tuesday.It makes some good reading.

Ian im only a junior tam davidson and malcolm lawson are the senior presidents to me cant you tell when you attend the meetings?Im the young goodlooking one at the end of the table. I made up my mind last year that i would not go to all the races this year and this was one that i didnt want to go to.I just went to my fed race where i am the president.I supported my fed of which i hope will go with the snfc next year to all the duplicate races.

Welcome to the pigeon world Ian.If i can give you a liitle advice do not listen to all this sort of rubbish be bigger and better than them.Just keep running the federation the way you have been for the last couple of years and the good members will see the good you lads do for the members .You will always have people who just want to snip away at rubbish i should no i get it all the time but its water of a ducks back to me. You will never stop them but just keep up the good work. Thanks also for all the good work you did for the snfc members in the north section last week.I hope to try your cooking skills ni the next 3/4 weeks.

I didnt have any at the race.I had pigeons at the federation race from Huntington and was 1st and 4th fed.

Congratulations to R.M Seaton on winning the snfc race on saturday.Well done to all the section winners and a special metion to Peter Mcgowan and his son Jamie on winning my own section D for the first time.

SNFC are at newbury with around about 4500 pigeons on the transporter. Northwest fed along with the central fed are at Huntington around about 300mls.

I would like to say well done to all the winners and a special well done to my good friend JOE AIRNS who is a member of the northwest federation and flys in the clackmannan club on his second open in the race well done Joe.

Whos all going to the SNFC race this week and how many are you sending?

Northwest federation from Scotland are at Leicester this week.

Good news the SNFC is going to Maidstone for the national with the federations.The liberation site will be the fair ground in Maidstone.All bets will be on.

The SNFC also will have to move from this race point along with all the feds that are due to be with the SNFC that day.We have a meeting this Sunday and this matter will be on the agenda.Two points that might be of some interest could be Hastings or Poole but we will see at the meeting on Sunday and post this asap for you the members.It would be hoped that all the feds would still be going with the SNFC for this race.You might even have the south lads along with Lanarkshire going to the same race point as the SNFC.Hope this helps you.

I would just like to say that the people who say Lanarkshire is a joke when it comes to race controlling.I would like to state that JIM HANNAH is and will continue to do a first class job along with the others who assist him in the fed.I work with Jim every week at federation level and at national level and we are doing our very best for the birds all the time.We do everything we can to get the birds home from the races in good time.I would like to point out that last weekend we worked from 6am until 2pm and on Sunday from 6am until we got uor birds up at 10.15am.Both our feds Lanarkshire and the Northwest got a race from 150mls with 85% of the birds home may be up to 94% now Tuesday we will always loose birds but that happens to everyone but trust me when i say the word that you are looking for to describe your race control team and leader is VERY PROFESSIONAL and you are lucky to have a man in charge of your birds like Jim.

Well said Bruno.Hope you see how cetain people always lokk into things that not there.This is one of the problems in the sport some members thik the world is against them and that everyone has it in for them.Look at the big picture if you can HELP THE SPORT GO FORWARD

Ronnie lets set one or two point out to you.One the members have every right to be mabe aware of what is going on at the shu council meetings.You along with your chosen friends are not the shu as you would like it to be.That we the members pay our money and you along with one or two council members can run the union.As long as i am on the shu council i WILL tell the members of the outcomes of their meetings no big deal as far as i am concerned.The next point is you did see what went on at the meeting along with others.We even had a man shouting out that another had been assaulted more than once or didnt you hear that?Their were at least two or three people should have been put out of the meeting and you also have to agree with that.I have every right to ask John Barlow to step down and stand by that.I along with others feel this would be best for everyone .I also want everyone to be aware that Ian Noble and myself the two vice presidents are not happy with the situation that we are in at the moment and will not just go along and say nothing .I dont want to be a part of the past i want to be the future of the sport in Scotland and people who are hell bent on stopping the union going forward need to step aside.You along with the majority of the people on the shu trust seem to be the main men who are hell bent on sticking your flag in the ground and keep harping back to the last 5/6 years when we have had real problems in the shu and many members walking away.We are back there again and we need to go forward.I feel that the time is right for to try and save the sport in Scotland and go forward for this to happen we need people with an open mind.I along with others can see the hurt and bad feelings from the past but we Must forgive but not forget and try and all work together.I was ata sale on Sunday in lanarkshire where pigeon men fron rpra and shu were all united as one for a very good cause selling youngsters for to give a family money for the death of a young member at TEN years old.This you could see everyone had a heart all we need is for some to have a brain and we could resolve all of this .WE will all have to give a little to gain a lot.Lets all put our hand up and say we have made mistakes but will give it a go after all if they can srt out the Irish then IF people want we can sort this sport out in Scotland but only if YOU want.It may be that some like it the way it is after all we had a council member say at the meeting that he didnt want these members back or didnt you hear that.What an advert fot the sport council members who dont want members.The point on the legal letter well what can i say that was one solicitors view on the matter but as we all are aware half the time they are wrong or they would all win all of the time for every good one there may be 10 bad also what advice was he given and from hume?I have spoken to another solicitor with a different view on one or two points from our council meeting.Ronnie where do we go with this you keep backing the past.I keep trying to look to the future.Result 0-0.Could i also say that you come to the meeting already made your mind up not willing to change your mind or others point of view all this about mandate from fed members.What a joke your members are not aware of all the facts.You are when you come to the meeting and have to look at the facts and do the right thing if the members dont like what you do on there behalf then they can change the council member at your fed level agm.

I would like to peply to Doos r us and Fifer.The first point is very clear we want everyone in the shu.We want members in Scotland man,women,children to fly under the union banner.The members in the west everyone wants them in the union the point is as it stands you are Not a federation.We all need to work together to sort this out.The next point is yes other feds were spoke about East of Scotland which i have said we support them 100% no problem with them even if they vote another way from me that is up to them.Midland fed was also on agenda they have 200 on the accounts which have been audited and passed at the shu agm but the have 203 on the fed books .This was a mistake and three were in as individual members.If you take the line that the audited books are 200 then they only have 1 vote not 2 that 203 members would give them.All of this would never been a problem but for the actions of wos letting in John Barlow.This has highlighted lots of feds which have a problem with the union book but we have people who want to bend it to fit. Fifer we all can see that you are a friend of John Barlow which is good but please dont try and say what is going on is ok.Why dont i go away if i dont like it your words well here we go.I as a MAN will stay because im in the right i am not a weak person who walks away and lets the people who after all are in the wrong win.I want everyone in Scotland to fly pigeons together united man,women,child under the union banner with a book that we all stick by not be in a position and bend the rules for myself.We must all stick by the rules friend or not same for all.I hope you will agree with this.You also made a point regarding my delegate well my delegate will as you say help sort things out.He will put his name on another letter to the shu along with another 5/6 council members to call another council meeting to sort this mess out.I just hope people stand up for what is right and wrong and not just because he is your mate i will back him even when wrong.This is why in your own back garden Fife has two federations.People just backing people for all the wrong reasons.Help the union be in it to change it that also is for the members who all walked away and left others to try and sort this out result clubs think they are feds national flying clubs think they are for all the members.The thing is a mess and if people dont start doing what is right then in another ten years we wont need this sight as we want have a future.

Well then Bruno what would you have done if you had a vote on Monday.Would you vote yes John everything is ok with your interpretation of the rule you can have 5 members and 5 lofts to make up a fed and be in four clubs.No you are working the rule book against what it is there for and you need 20 individual lofts to make a fed.Just a yes or no answer will be ok.

Fifer Who are you talking about guests.I am talking about the council members who could not control themselfs at the council meeting and that is the people that the feds are sending to the shu to represent you the member.The other point is simple lets start with you dont sit on the fence is it ok to have 5 members 5 lofts make up a fed yes or no?I have spoken to a lot of shu members since the meeting on Monday and everyone says the same NO.This is clear people are abusing the interpetation of the rules to please themselfs.This is why we are in the mess we are.We need to have MORAL ISSUES and see what is right and what is wrong.Then we have others who think they are council members for life when the fed they are in voted them out of office at the last agm of their fed.They come along as life members?Fifer can you explain how this can happen?is it not that someone can be a life member to the shu but council members are members who are voted on at the feds agm yes/no? The fed members put up the council members for the year and they in turn are to act on your members behalf at the council and run the union for the year.If you dont like what they do at the union then you change this at your fed agm again yes/no?This is why i beleive that the current council members need to stand up and take a vote and sort this out.

The facts are that in the meeting at least three or four should have been put out of the meeting and that was just for the way in which they conducted themselfs.The reason i think they were not removed right or wrong was it then would have looked as if the chairman at that point Ian Noble was trying to get people out so a vote may be swung one way or the other.The hole thing is very sad and all the council has to ask themselfs where are we going?I want to say that i Scott Gibson want evryone in Scotland to be a member of the shu and all try and work together for the members.I feel that when our union book was put together by our past members page one rule two was not in to say that you realy only need five members five lofts and you can be a federation.This should be for a club if council members have the union at heart they will sort this mess out sooner rather than later.The shu should not be like a circus with people on the council acting like clowns.I have already stated that in the interest of the union we need stability in the union with the council ALL working to take the sport in Scotland forward.In the short term the answer is simple our president to step down and let Ian Noble handle the union until the agm where we can change the rules that are in question also Lanarkshires number one delegate to take a back seat.This i feel would help the council work together until the agm.The things that were after the meeting i cant say as i was then in another meeting but i am deeply sadened at what i am reading about.I am not takeing sides on this but just sums up the current state we are in.This cant go on i would therefore appeal to everyone on the council to look at themselfs and never mind the names involved just one question is this right.NO then the council run the union sort it out.

Fifer you make a lot of good points.However we spent 3.5hours on this and could not even get it to a vote.

I am sure that all members of the council would agree on one thing and that is that the shu council meeting was one of the worst ever in the history of the union.I wont go into all the details as i would need all day to post it.One point that i will make all members aware of is that if you look at page one rule two it would seem that all you need to make a federation is 5 members with 5 lofts and be in all 4 clubs in a federation and that it.To sum up FIVE people can have a federation.Right or wrong?
