i can simpothise with you only acouple of month ago i had a pigeon go missing turned up next day shot with slug gun right through keel bone and through wing had to dispose of pigeon through internal organs being damaged as it turned out it had to be ma das favorite

i treat them with a heaped tea spoonful of bicarbonate of soda 1heaped tea spoonful to a two half litre drinker for 5 days and then every sunday try it as it is a far cheaper alternative to all other treatments it also keeps down the coci count :-/ :)

last few seasons i have started at shotts 6 miles and then to carnwath 12 miles then bggar 16 miles thats about as far as they go and always have good returns :)
