I think Spin Cycle has it right. In what will be only your second year racing, stick with the basics of natural racing. You asked quite a few questions about feeding, vitamins, electrolytes etc. so this is where you should concentrate your efforts. Take it slowly....watch and learn. Patience , my friend, patience.

Can't these 'shows' be staged just for a bit of fun ? Introducing prizes can bring out the 'dark side' of some people.

I have a realistic attitude !! The idea for organisations to communicate re - liberations is brilliant on paper......but in practise it won't get off the ground.....that's the reality !!!

Clashing of convoys has been a problem for years......and will continue to be so !! If anyone thinks there will be mass communication between organisations to prioritise liberations, you are sadly mistaken, it's not going to happen. As has been stated previously, the larger convoys will want priority over everyone regardless, thus the smaller organisations will be looked upon with destain. Too many organisations liberate within a small window, and it's a 'dog eat dog' scenario. Some token communications are being made at present between organisations, but if you think it will ever be the normal practise for there to be nationwide cross-consultation......you're havin' a laugh !! Be realistic and live in the world of what does happen, and not in the fantasy world of what we would like to happen !!

Remember, when a flock of pigeons are subject to a BOP strike, their only thought is to escape. They will panic fly in all directions, and will continue for some miles. E-Bay. That's where I saw them last....fair price as well.

The transporter on the left did not impress me at all, with all birds liberated at once. Surely it would be better to split the sides into two, liberating say the bottom two rows, followed by the top 4 rows. I know which transporter I would want my birds on as well !!!
