regretably we won't be going with a stand this time as Ray had 2 bad heart scares this year and just to much. A friend is driving us up on Sunday morning to deliver Y/Birds ordered. Will really miss everyone old friends and those new ones we always make at the show, and those welsh cakes.
-
Thank you we will do it may be on the way back as it may be late when we get up there. I would also like to thank all of those who helped get some of our birds home after clash on 6th July from Aycliffe Rose
-
This bird was hanging around all morning finally came down at 2.00pm very thin. We are at Alnwick this weekend if that is any help Rose
-
Thank you for these replies and although I can understand your caution our birds must all be vaccinated and PMV certificates signed by club official and copies left with club secretaries no signed form and they can't send their birds wing stamping is also compulsary these rules are for all RPRA members and are adhered to in my fed. The comments made by IB and Hendrik are also valid. We on the NR have few race points that aren't on your flight path as you scatter yourselves in the first 3 or 4 races accross the middle of the country. Also you have so many seperate Libs it takes all morning giving us no chance if weather closes in.

It seems inevitable thatthe area the UNC covers will have many strays Derbyshire NR Fed clashed on sunday with them and would like to know if it would be possible to bring all our strays down to Worksop with them on Saturday 13th to be collected by one of our members,we had almost half our small convoy missing and one reported in Teeside one in Middlesbrough if anyone can help please email me landerray@hotmail.com or phone 01773 783115 thank you Rose

Sorry about the Ferry comment being sarcastic I know but you didn't say if you thought the birds could have reached the mainland and further this morning instead of more days in basket? as for south coast you should speak to the poor convoyer I spoke to last Saturday morning early when a gale force West wind was battering the Scottish transporter and he had to wait to let go at Eastbourne and I am between Nottingham & Derby and it was fresh to strong here.
-
These are Lerwick birds sent for the job on a reasonable day as long as they reached mainland we had a good chance of day birds right down country. Who can fly out of Scotland withiut hitting any rain? The BBC forcast 2morrow at 7.30am on net is a lotta lotta rain below Aberdeen to borders. He will let go Monday with west in the wind not much better than 2day rainwise but just right for catching the Ferry back.
-
Whats wrong I really thought we had a good chance 2day is it the east in the wind? turning to S/Westerly 2morrow Rose
-
Thank you for that I hope we get a Lib today as although there is rain about on mainland it is improving as day goes on and birds have a very good chance of getting home I am border Notts/Derby's Rose
-
