Probably because Coalburn have trained from the same racepoint on their own for 4 races prior to this and Graham bros returns are Probably because they have worked their ybs hard this year topping Lanarkshire and south Lanarkshire

Not to say everyone in the south had good returns bt graham bros been fleeing out their skin

  2. Well according to John Quinn I have made the Covid 19 situation 100x worse

... I'm very sorry for having a forward thinking personality... I prefer to look for positives and ways to move forward...

At no point have I disrespected the severity of the covid 19 situation however John feels otherwise

I will not post again on pigeonbasics as I do not want to make the covid 19 situation any worse that the 100x I have already caused

  3. Fud and everyone knows it. Last reply

Yes John that's what everyone thought with your letter to the SHU that had about 3 words spelled correctly

Phone number is the same John

  4. It’s a sad day when aw you’ve got in life is putting Doos in a basket and tossing them. If you canny enjoy yer Doos around the loft and picking about yer feet yer no a doorman. Get yer sel a dug ye won’t be missed. Some cants need tae look in the mirror and recognise the cant looking back at them. .

Tell ye something I'm happy as a pig in shiete...life literally couldn't be any better for me ..and could easily say 10% of my life is pigeons.... your comment is small minded...some people their pigeons is all they have... You have a brain John use it

  5. The central marking idea was jst an idea from me....feel free to pi.ss over it believe me these last few months ive took enough flack to last a life time...I am not privy to any Lanarkshire plans or ideas it was me putting an idea out there that is it.....

If we don't get racing I'll buy a trailer and if the law allows I'll give as many as I can fit a training toss.... I'll put it at the side of my house and fanciers can come and load their pigeons the same as we done at the 5 bird club

    Job done

    Stay safe stay happy

Keep it at club level for marking the doos .the more people there the harder it is to manage

We can get 60k people in a football stadium bt canny get 400 fanciers to coordinate basketting lol

  6. good post george then whoever wants to race can do so,

Also something that could be looked at is the fed could give grants to each central marking station to help get the correct and safe measures in place... plenty money in the bank... say 1k each station? The money given would be saved with the fed only going to 3 or 4 stations

Another point this helps protect the safety of the drivers not meeting 4 basket handlers at every club in Lanarkshire and continuing around each club

A lot of change in many industries have already took place....pigeon racing won't be any different

  7. What about central marking at the bigger club houses in each section clubs chip in and get their section club set up safely and help operate it together....rotation system to run it

Bit silly 10 clubs all spending money on a temporary set up when we could club together and do it

  8. first and foremost everyone must have masks and visors if possible and marking will have to start much earlier as it will take much longer to mark the birds with less men doing the work

what about knocking up a frame the size of a table with perspex or similar for ets the marker can be on one side with the base station and man reading it on the other with small hole to pass clock through with the same idea for rubbers with hole cut for ringer the man ringing the birds takes the rubber off the tab and passes the rubber though a small hole to the man carrying the birds who puts it over the ringer and the man at the table pushes the ringer open the carrier then goes and takes a bird from the basket and gets it rung puts the bird in race basket while guy at the table writes the tag on the pool sheet the carrier then is past and fits another rubber before bringing the next bird just some ideas guys and not hard to do what your thoughts

My mate was up Burnbank club the other day and they have arranged it in a wae tht allows social distancing

Also looks like they will be relaxing the 2 metre rule shortly as they reckon a metre is just fine as they are doing it in most other countries...

Good forward thinking Walter where there is a will there is a way

  9. is it just me or is it not about time the shu came out with there own statement not a copy of the rpra statement to let us know whats happening i.e. can we train next week or are we getting old bird or young bird racing. or will they just copy the rpra statement AGAIN

  10. Wi an attitude like you have shown from the start of this post I very much doubt if you care what the word safe means but I'm sure those that are left will still enjoy their racing. Best o luck to you's

    Complete opposite

    Best of luck

  11. Thanks George been very difficult for our guys recently and they have been doing an outstanding job. Hopefully things can get better once we start to come out this lockdown.

I have hand sanitizer, masks and gloves for the Greenfield club when you guys start back.

The only reason I know is my mrs works in one of the the chemists that your guys pick up from I think your wife has been in quite a few times....fair play...when most are retreating your company have stepped forward and supported the community which should be spoke about...top class

  12. No but the RPRA said they could in "England"!!

Told ye before the rpra are looking after Scotland thankfully

No matter tae you fancier no want to race so no one to race category....should have a look at yersel...well maybe no ye will have nightmares

The 5 mile chat was advice not law....and if so...Lanarkshire a business who can operate outdoors can arrange safe pick ups for training races etc without fanciers leaving 5 miles....IF YOU DONT WANT TO RACE DONT RACE SIMPLE
