patterdale terriers seem to be ideal too (from the ones i've seen)

IMO when top winning CONSISTENT performers go a miss it is down too Bop, Wires etc I don't believe great pigeons just don't home. I know a man who was 5th open from 675 miles approx snfc and then lost from appleby as a trainer 70 miles? Baffling bearing on mind this pigeon had been singled up many many time 50 plus miles.
