  10. hi nico im fine mate how about yourself, looks great inside the loft, look two cracker young uns aswell,
  11. stuff a grape down there throat new one on me. Lol best of taking the drinking fountain out for about 4 hours and put it back in for an hour before basketing the birds.
  12. hi debbie its adviced not to, but i read about a fancier who used to canker his birds with young in the nest few days before weaning and believed they had natural immunity from then on
  13. mud on there feet from a training toss that wasnt to far, dnt like the sound of that to be honest, means they have been down. Could be due to the heat, but they should have homed and then got a drink. How long was they in the lorry before hand?

been told by a few people you will have to have telephone number worth of cash to purchase? but thats only what i have been told.
  17. id get a swab and dropping test done first, and then you will find out what you should treat for. Makes sure the test also covers samonella and e.coli also
  18. sam if you look at the pic some of wileys ybs, you will see the trapping method nico uses you will notice the wood sticking out closest to the screen, however nicos might be slightly modified as believe he has bob holes, but is very simiular
  19. i think it all depends what system your racing andy, if there on eggs ect i think motivation should be done throughout the week, like feeding pigeons near the nest ect if you notice a cock or hen particually aggressive on the nest. All little things. I fight with my birds every day that motivates them as they believe im there to over take there perch. But as i have majority seperated my main motivation comes on a friday!
  20. if its around the joints im guessing paratyphoid, id get a droppings test for the traces of samonella and e.coli, think these ones can work out quiet expensive.
  21. Ben take my advice go pm bilco and get some xerex i had the sickness couple weeks ago, cleared it up in 48 hours. You notice a huge improvement in the birds in 8 hours
  22. i couldnt suggest a brand one as i believe all electrolytes do the same job just different prices im using an australian electrolyte at moment though. Also you maybe some glucose will bring up the sugar levels.
  23. before sending them access on how they are, if they still arent looking right, i would consider having dropping and swab test, as the should be doing the distance easily. However if the birds didnt recieve a drink before basketing they may have been slightly dehydrated. In this heat i would offer them an electrolyte if you said they looked tired.
  24. cannot speak on behalf of jimy but my view would be that, young birds natural immunity levels are alot lower then an old birds. Also to add young birds will pick at anything and eat anything there very inquisitive creatures, so would be more prone to picking things up around the yard. But like jimmy said vetinery advice is always the right way to go!
