to be honest, i bought the Gem moulting mixture, however bad thing about london theres no pigeon food shops, so i get my corn delivered, so didnt check mnixtures ect, i know alot of people are fans of Gem Corns, but personally I dont like them this moulting mixture and racing mixture i hadnt been very impressed with, just personally opinion, i personally believe the two best corn manufactors out there is Marimans and Vanrobaeys

Does any one no what is the longest pigeon race in in the world
I no the hardest is the France race in to Ireland
I dont know about longest but the hardest in my opinion would have to be the China Beijing International One Loft Race, you just had to see what the olympics was like to understand how hard this race is, that race takes no prisioners im sure.

This year we have an Auction at Doncaster and an Auction at Blackpool only and no stand im afraid, its just too much work for us and i really want to enjoy the weekend this year so these too Auctions will be the only chance to get our Aarden birds.
will any sprinters be at blackpool?

lol its very simple own picked is the besxt but you can by nettle tea at holland and barrats which is just as good.

always use stinging nettles, best thing to get down out of your birds 4 weeks prior to first race stick ur pigeons on 14 days of nettle tea, the condition the birds come into is unbelievable its like a snowfall of down

joshdonlan you say its a stockbird lagging in the moult, if it still had 2 or 3 flights to go I would be very concerned, on the other hand if the last flight is just pushing through this sometimes can knock a pigeon back for a day or two.
have to agree, mature pigeons should be through the moult

same happened to london to blackpool last year, ryanair are currently laying off alot of workers presently, so would imagine it had something to do with that.

do you use light system for later races if so how are you going on with the moult.
had mine on lights till last race, lights were on till 1opm still got 2 to go

if your to use heating im lead to believe it should only be used in the racing season to create a constant temperature hence allowing the birds to come into condition

i would just like to add that all rings are a cost of £5 each and this £5 fee will only enter you into the challenge to win prize money all the ybs will be owned by myself and should i drop (loose a yb during the challenge its up to me to pay for the return of the bird to the loft
the ybs will be raced throughout the whole yb program and what will happen is first bird home on raceday will get 5 points therefore going down to 1 point for 5th pigeon home
there is no limit as to how many rings you want to buy

yes he had that problem but got as was an existing customer
why not try one of the members on here from the usa to get them and send to you
i use vita king all the time not a problem. in answer to the above question float a round of babies under him, found sometimes they fertilize the eggs on there own after rearing a round, make sure in serperate section tho

The late Dick Hart of Welwyn Garden CIty had two hens out of OMO and they both won many many cards. She was a STASSART as I recall
OMO was a white cock
so he was a stassart hehe -
the best white pigeon in my mind was alf bakers 'OMO'

i consentrate on sprint, the birds get young bird racing and yearlings if not done anything then they dont progress in my race team, the aim is they have to score every season in the top 10 of the federation to stay here,

yes PJC last one to close was Lenny Meshers in Canning Town, now if your to get corn its about a 40 mile round trip from my house to Basildon, or a 30 mile round trip to the farm in upminister.
