the problem with youngsters is if they go into another loft they can be a problem getting them to home to u again,

when at school 14yrs, and we had a boys club, and birds were convoyed with the local club. for free, we did'nt have clocks so had to run to a point with ur rubber.

we used to go to work on the farms picking the potatoes as a youngster and we always came home each day with a sand bag of beans, was the feeding for the pigeons, good for distance i would say as there is lots of water content in beans.

one fancier in leven is getting one on his loft. come next month april we should get a rest from them as when they are feeding young they go for small pray, and the crows are with young and keep them at bay, the only thing is u have to watch the crows, :'( :'( :'( :'(
