  10. Khan seeks appreciation World champion looking to win over British fans http://img.skysports.com/11/07/660x350/Amir-Khan-Zab-Judah_2625014.jpgAmir Khan feels more appreciated in the US but says he is determined to win the hearts and minds of the British public. Khan faces Zab Judah in a light-welterweight world title unification fight in Las Vegas on Saturday night. Despite his achievements in the ring, Khan has struggled to be universally accepted in his homeland but that has not been a problem in the US where he has spent much of his time in recent years, training at Freddie Roach's renowned Wildcard gym. "There are still sceptics around at home but I always say that I'm the best, most exciting fighter Britain has had for a long, long time," he said. "You can put any name against me, but I know I'm the most exciting. "A lot of people don't give me the credit I deserve but I fight because I love the sport and want to put on good shows. "When I retire, the people who didn't think I was that good will think 'hang on, Amir was good after all'. "I definitely feel more appreciated here than in the UK. At this moment in time, I'm getting more love in America from boxing fans." WHO WILL WIN THIS FIGHT?

  19. I enjoy sitting out in the garden and watching my birds exercising high in the sky, I enjoy preparing a team of birds for a race, and eagerly sitting at the loft awaiting their return. Breeding your own team of racers is also a pleasant experience, especially, when they perform well at the racing. Also, the friendships that are made and shared, I enjoy visiting fellow fanciers lofts, and regularly have friends visit me at my loft. I also make a point of shaking the hand of the winner everytime, unlike somehttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0138-thinking.gif I do enjoy my pigeons, and they keep me out of troublehttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0136-giggle.gif

  24. Recently, on most pigeon related sites a majority of posts are regarding BOP or mass young bird losses, expense of keeping/racing birds, although we can not ignore these issues, I ask myself, why do we persist and carry on year in year out with our birds. If I were a youngster, or someone considering joining this sport, I would have to be convinced that there are possitive experiences also.http://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0126-nerd.gif So come on folks, lets hear some possitive reasons why we carry onhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0137-clapping.gifhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0137-clapping.gifhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0137-clapping.gif
  25. Wallace seals Gers move Left-back leaves Hearts to sign five-year deal at Ibrox http://img.skysports.com/11/02/660x350/Lee-Wallace_2564736.jpgRangers have completed the signing of Hearts left-back Lee Wallace. Gers had a £1.5million bid accepted earlier on Thursday and the Scottish champions acted swiftly to tie up the move. The club has announced that Wallace has passed his medical before signing a five-year deal at Ibrox, with the Scotland international admitting he jumped at the chance to join Gers. "It's great to have a club of Rangers' stature interested in you and then when it comes to signing for the club it's even better," he said
