I was sitting watching tv when I heard a "thud" on the back door, on looking out the kitchen window I observed the sky filled with crows, making a terrible noise. (I had my natural cocks out for the first time, since the racing stopped) as I opened the back door, to my surprise a Hawk at my feet on top of a yearling cock, I took my shoe off and threw it, hitting the hawk, enough for it to release the bird. The poor bird made it,s way in between my 4 wheely bins, only to be followed by this hawk, on pulling a bin out, the hawk took off. Fortunately the bird has minimal damage. So sad, but true... We should place the elderly in prisons. They will get a shower a day, video surveillance in case of problems, three meals a day, access to a library, computer, TV, gym, doctors on-site, free medication if needed. Put criminals in nursing homes. They have cold meals, lights off at 7pm, two showers a week, live in a smaller room and pay rent at £4,000 a month!!!
