it would cost us just under £1100 to take the birds to wakefield. if every member sent 6 birds we would have appox 1200 pigeons.you don't have to be clever to work that one out
can i ask your opinion on what if every member sent 6 birds to each race, the birdage would have to start at 40p for the 1st race and double its self each week.by the time we get to wakefield it would cost the members approx 95p a bird
ive just read this thread and the proposal for the fees for the fife fed is to go from £63 up £150this to be advanced birdage giving the members free birdage up to 25 birds all races except open races. for to try and put the birdage up member only send less birds and the fed lose out again. the fed are only keeping there head above water, because of sales and make more than £1000 at there dance. but the members doing the moaning are the ones that dont suport these function. i had a young bird this year that was 1st fed witton castle 118miles, 6th club ripon, 157miles, 6th club wakefield 188 miles, and 2nd club, and 7th snfc y/bird national. does anybody think it had a chance of an award
