I don’t think it would have been possible to achieve in 3 weeks previously because of the timing of the races. I seem to remember some fanciers (Eddie Newcombe & John Ellis spring to mind but I stand to be corrected) sending birds across the channel 3 times in a season to Avranches/Sartilly in June, then Rennes or Nantes then back to Avranches/ Sartilly in July but there would be 5 weeks between the first and last race.
