  11. awe well done i hope your pleased with them
  12. i always line my lofts , never had mice or rat problems and if linned then entry points would be more visable
  13. well that means the small back garen fancier is penalised by the mob flyer , and young fanciers wouldnt be able to get a race if that was the case , better to pay per bird much fairer
  14. Bolton and wiliamson
  15. my ybs usualy fly the programme to the coast all my good birds have all flown the programme as ybs usualy 230 mile , only went as far as 215 this year tho , i send my yearlings up to 420 miles obviously the ones i believe are capable of this , at 2 year old i believe its the best age for a pigeon and i send these up to 512 mile , 3 years old upward tend to slow down a bit and the 500 to 700 mile races would suit them better if they were capable
  16. have to agree with above
  17. is that everyone pays the same amount to fly the whole season ?
  18. im all for competision and i think if you took away the boundarys i think everyone would move to gain advantage of a good loft position , that would do nothing for the sport , im not intersted in club flying realy im more intrested in the fed programme as i'd prefer a good fed card than a club win and if you get both its a bonus
  19. Look like Van Loons very nice
  20. good post Ronnie , im in an invitation club , and i can understand why it is one im sure that new clubs forming cant be Invitations clubs anymore , the problem we have where we are situated is that if opened up fanciers 2 miles further would join and as our birds tend to fly over more times than not we would be giving these guys like 4 miles every race and besides theres 2 clubs in town , as long as members are in our boundary we accept , my mate kirky was just outside the boundary and on many occasions i would of liked him in my club the more the merrier i say , well we bothed moved and were accepted back in to the invitation club , i cant rember a time when they refused anyone entry whilst i was there as long as they were in the club boundary
  21. Hempcore is available at most equestrian supliers / farm supliers such as B.A.T.A or ask a petshop to get it in for you
  22. thats not damp that was wax to get the doors to slide lol ;D ;D ;D ;D , where as if you walk on wetness outside loft such as grass or concrete when you stand on sand it attaches to your feet and the water runs down in to the sand creating damp and when you exit loft you take it with you
  23. hempcore dressing on floor
  24. if buying from a petshop ensure they dont keep live animals or the straw may be contaminated , buy HEMPCORE great stuff by the time you have enough straw you could have hempcore and perhaps cheaper
  25. straw , when using straw you should only buy straw thats been gased as supplied in little compressed bags at your local petshop , this is because the straw from farms can have many tics and other creepy crawls in it which wouldnt do you pigeons any good at all , sand is ok with i feel it attracts more damp and damp creates its own problems re ecoli ectra , the best floor dressing available is hempcore
