  5. I had a pair did nothing here lightning fast from training 20 minutes in front of birds on training losted one last year first race other went second race , my thoughts were to cross them but i passed them on to a friend but you cant judge a whole loft by a couple of birds
  6. 40 dead birds in the harbour seems they may have been dumped , guess if racers there rings be missing however if racers with rings on they may have been hit by a wave but in whatever case doesnt look good on fanciers be there racers or fancy birds , keep us updated
  7. light feed barley / durupative ensure digestion is working and droppings fine , if so give it another day on its own to ensure alls well then return to loft , im pretty much with John Quinn weak birds get ill quicker , but im sure this is a case of over eating rather than ybs

  15. were quite a few Gits and Hanseens in Wales both feather legged breeds , others include Jan Arden and Gurnay and Tournier , i have a Gurnay cross still in loft with feathered legs im sure someone on site bought some hanseens x gits on this site from bloke in wales who packed up end of last season i think theres a few feathered legged birds on my photobucket below
  16. the thing is the insert board part is what there getting back out on if ets pad was underneath base then they couldnt exit , other option is steel rod with bobwires on

I can't believe this sport at times it does sod all to improve / help itself , with new goverment these fossils at hq could be in office forever , we have a manager thats not left the go space on the board im sure hes already eyed up the the bonus on square 2 and uncertain of reading rules before he goes , but im certain he wont be moving with the times nor implimenting any improvements
  18. make a small wooden tray / box and slide ets into it all you need do is up trap a little higher so little draw fits under and base board sits on the tray/ draw

  21. It may leave once got iself right however if captured and contained can get full ring number we can help you locate the owner who may want it back it may have a stamp with phone number on its wing

    its from Teeside if you catch it it may have a stamp on it's wing with telephone number in order to report it to its owner you have to get the full ring number and keep the bird contained
  23. my sentiments , we may not have always agreed on things but weve managed to keep things friendly and agreed to disagree , however what friends don't fall out from time to time i wish you all the best whatever you decide
  24. box up and starve fer 2 days water only and try on some light grub after to see if improves if you havent got a vet use the mobile one on wheels if no improvement blockage could be canker
