must give this one to speck,,, its the owner to blame for bad trappers, not the birds ,,,, they need that confidence from day one
-
if you put galley pots with maples in their box everyday theyll be eating themselves in a fortnight ,, not that i would seperate them then , but at 3 weeks as voc says theyll all be full cropped and sitting as warm as toaston the floor of the loft,,,,,,,,,this is the time they actual;y get looked after less with the adults,,,as they just want to breed again

;D ;D ;D ;D happy memories ;D ;D ;D sore memories ,, we formed our own wee private club as lads,,, no clocks [no money ;D] getting the old rubbers from" the real pigeon men"we had about ten young lads in it , streeters , half tumblers you name it ;D we had to run to a centre point [the chemist shop] [not in it ;D ;D ;D] first to arrive with rubber won the race,, i cycled with[ my would be winning rubber ;D] and a big stick came poking out a hedge , through the spokes ,, over the handlebars ,,,went hame greetin ;D ;D ;D,,,,,,, the other two mates brothers ;D ran with rubber , the one without the rubber got there first, then somebody else got there b4 the other brother who had the rubber ;D ;D ;D good scrap that day ;D ;D ;D

birds should be ok , even if they go back to the old place , dont give them a bath for a fortnight , let them out hungry , have some seeds scattered round garden , let them see you filling the bath [splashing the water] , and throwing some canary seed and hemp around, once they get a pick outside [,even if they go after that ] theyll be back best of luck

:'( :'( sorry to say ,,,if youve dirty eggs , theres something wrong in the birds or in the loft [could be an inexperienced pair, but still should be clean] if theve plenty nesting material and loft bone dry ,, eggs should be spotless [and the birds contented]
-
neither do i alf ,, i think its me,s crafty posts of letting folk guess. anyway my own thoughts are that early april is far to early , the same birds will never keep in condition for long , especialy having been trained b4 that , i found it best to try and get a few odds and end birds trained for the first 4 races , then stop them , and start my main team in may, in the past have found this to be a much better way

hi stew,, i meant to add ,,,with plenty grit and minerals ,,,good luck stew

we must carry fighting on,, pigeon men sometimes are their own worst enemy , most of it is caused by , jealousy, greed, and selfishness
-
really so sad to hear that jason , its not your fault , just you keep battling on , youll get there,, when you have time to think better im sure youll think of something,, if you need any help just pm,,so really sorry for you and the young lads ,, i really feel for you mate

Negative Fanciers - Its A No Brainer
jimmy white replied to Lightning McQueen's topic in Notice Board
best of luck to you mark and sally , it is very annoying when you get the likes of this ,, but as time passes theyll see what idiots theve made out themselves ,,,,best of luck, to you both -
the club should be brought in to disrespute, their breaking the rules not giving you the proper notice for a meeting , their in the wrong just for ONE start ,, i think i would have a" few starts" after that ,, its just downright shocking, THAT RULE COULD NEVER BE RATIFIED BY THE UNION , IF THE MEETING WAS IMPROPER. i know how mad you must be sean , but as gangster says try your best to keep calm [hard as it will be] and deal with it in the proper way, most fanciers would do there utmost to get young lads or lasses involed in any way, so like everyone else , i think the members of your club should be utterly ashamed of them selves ,,,it makes yourblood boil,, i hope the union can sort things out for you, and hope the members see some compassion and sence, [ stick in sean]
