  4. your quite right sammy , but funnily enough for the humans ,, not the birds ,, the pigeons are well prepared by nature for it to harm them too much , their nostrils are differant to ours alltogether , but as said b4 on the forum its wise for any fancier to wear a mask [which i dont, but should ;D;D] [hope thats not you in a mask at the side ;D ;D ;D]

  12. a young bird sitting two babies ,,, if it works?, put the eggs back after return from race , do the same the next week , sometimes this can be repeated a few times with the same yb,s if its just perches you have in your yb section,, on a friday try a few ply boards against the wall,on the floor maybe about 2ft long 1 ft high a few nest bowls with shavings or twigs in them , youll find all the young cocks and hens in and out them and actualy get a bit jealous of each other,, repeated every week ,they get the hang of it and it can make them keen ,after the race lift all boards and shavings etc till the next friday

  15. i remember seeing an old film on the donaldson bros,,,,dunbar,, great distance fliers ,, the birds had been picking at the pointing of the old stone wall for years , they wouldnt re point it saying it did them good [by their results at the time, it didnt do them any harm anyway ]

  20. yes you say their early bred ,, really like darkness ybs ,, theve probably have had a body moult , they do tend to eat slightly less as when body moulting [thats when they really need the grub ] but nowt wrong with them if their comming like that
