got to know charlie wooff and family [all pigeon mad ] very well ,,about 40years ago ,,also through reporting a stray ,,,, he sent two birds up the following year , one bred out of his brothers car winner " bonnie blue" the other from his lerwick winner,,[imagine giving birds like this to me ],,,in one race,,ist and 2cnd FED ,,,nearly 6,000 birds [but after staying with him for a week aquired some of his management, ways ,,,,,,,,never to be forgotten :) ,,,,fantastic flier in over over 60 years of flying,,,still topping the fed regular and still keeping in touch regular

there's something in what you say Vick Ive had bother on odd times , but must say thieve been mostly ok,AMTRAK i mean ,,,,,,,,a little competition would help prices

hi jimmy if youve got some homing theres no reason , with a little patience the rest will be ok, i would be against banding their wings ,[i have did this b4 but never again] as i beleive this can damage them also frighten, and stress them , far better them homing on their own ,,,,good luck with them

both above posts make sense to me, i have broken pigeons in days and won from 500 + with the same bird.3 weeks later ..1st i would say let the birds see where they are , second gain their confidence , and thirdly give them motivation ,,,i do believe intelligent birds will home quicker if not allowed in the old loft
