The vote has been handled wrongly as the three proposals should have been voted on (one vote per member) then the two with the most votes go against each other. The status quo does not apply as fees are set annually and proposals taken from the floor. By the way why did Fifer or anyone else who disagreed not propose status quo. This of course would have been financial suicide if as I understand the fed lost a lot of money last year. The idea is good in principal as it generates a guaranteed income for the fed. but personally I would go for a set number of free birds and then so much per bird over that amount as I think that is fairer to all. (I say this as someone who flies a fairly big team) The SHU will not act unless a complaint is received from a member. The first step would be an objection to the Fife Fed.

I think Aberdeen Fed did this last year but not sure how it turned out for them financially or if they are doing it again this year. It does seem strange that proposals were not on agenda but maybe because subs and birdage are set at agm a written proposal is not needed. Cant see why shu could rule against this as many organisations give free birds to members who sell lottery tickets etc

Dundee & Angus up at 11.00 at Wakefield

Hull birds were lib at Berwick 8.00 Saturday. Not sure if it was Hull NR

That is something you should ask your race controller or convoyer. Dundee moved to Arniston and libbed at 3.30. Angus stayed at Otterburn and libbed at 11.30 and I believe they had a reasonable race although heavy rain split the birds up

I can confirm the lanarkshire transporter was at otterburn on sunday. Too many folk on here just try to cause trouble for officials without getting the FACTS first

You can buy maps from Masons Maps in Dunfermline but they cost about £25 for a small map. Some councils wont give you maps cos of copywrite rules etc (unless you know someone in the know)
