4 yearlings missing for me fae 15 sent i've only had 1 doo from 12.45 yesterday

WE TAKE ALL OUR FULL BASKETS OUT THE CLUB HUT AS SOON AS THEY ARE FULL AND STICK THE DRINKERS ON THEM ANYWAY WE HAD A FEW BASKETS OOT LAST NIGHT AND THIS BIG FK OFF CRAW WAS ON TOP OF WAN OF THE BASKETS TRYING TAE GET AT THE DOOS BUT I WILL BE WAITING IN THE FKR NEXT WEEK AND IT WULNAE GET THE CHANCE AGAIN AS IT APPARENTLY TRIED THE SAME THING LAST WEEK

I THINK IT WILL BE NEARER THE 2- 2 1/4 HOUR MARK ASWELL FRANK BUT AS LONG AS WE GET A GOOD RACE

LOOKING AT THE FORECAST THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE MINE WILL STAY IN THE LOFT THIS WEEKEND

Gerry and me got our 1st wans at 10.42 Frank but i was still 6 short at 11 and 1 to come at hawf 1 so not too bad for jumping them straight to Meldons i guess but we'll see how they come the morra fae Innerleithen

HALF MY Y/B RACE TEAM WILL BE L/B'S THEN

i dont think it matters if it is a l/b bred or not a good doo is a good doo i have timed a l/b carrying 3 nest flights to be 3rd club ypres at 7.30 on the shift and the same doo was at reims last year timed approx 2.30 pm on the saturday so he better get the finger oot this year

i always like to get them rung for the 1st of june and quite a lot of the time they make the best y/b racers for me when they are rung around this time and i usually have them at the 1st race easy enough at 9 10 weeks old as they are up and flying quickly with the batch In fact i would have been 2nd club with a y/b last year that had only hawf grown it's 2nd flight(not a darky just a wee thing she was) but i sent it as a trainer as i had only transfered it the day before but a fortnight later at our duplication race it was 7th section after sitting oot for nearly 5 mins as an older cock y/b returned from the week befores race just before she landed and chased her all over the loft roof

me thinks aboot hawf 10 maybe even 11 would be ok with me
