some of my youngbirds have trained to twenty and the other only ten im not that happy how much they have been trained but everytime they go on a trainer i always get one back attacked by percy but hopefully get a few more done and ill be left with 17 yearlings next year

What is the main advantages of splitting the sexes and disadvantages of not. I really don't know whether r not to do as you know I only have a 10x6 so not sure if I should split them up

Aye anno john yer right just the same as you said I would lose 25% which I more or less did so should probaly leave it at that mate although I'm not to happy that half had only one toss

well no more from that toss so i lost 5 but quite clearly if they cant do ten mile a cant see them been any good anyway i know they were ready were ready and all started flying with the others that managed there first toss fine actually quicker than the first birds i tossed from the same point so im now left with 17 birds for next year a few more tosses and thats that for them.

I've not got a prob with the distance it was the time I done it after all there homing pigeons if I took my dog a mile away then 2 then 3 I bet he could find his way home too
